Head coach Steven Burkhardt returns for his 7th season with the Thunderhawks. Junior Varsity Head Coach Landen Klaber has assumed a new role this season as Varsity Defensive Coach. Former East players Tyler Chalk ’17 and Ben Domina ’21 along with Mount Saint Joe graduate Micheal Addai are joining the coaching staff and will be leading the JV team this season. The Varsity team is returning numerous starters from last year’s team as well as adding a talented incoming freshman class. The Varsity team looks to build on last season and continue to dominate on the field for the 2025 season. Max Wilcox ’25 is returning at the goalie position this season and leading the defense along with returning players Cohen Reip ’25, Colin Ferrigan ’25 and Carter Moore ‘26. The offense will be guided by Nick Tserng ’25, Jackson Uhl ‘25, and Brady Johnson ‘28. Another tough schedule should offer for an exciting season for the lacrosse program and a long run in the state tournament.

Thunderhawks traveled to the Elder Pit Tuesday coming home with a win 10-4. Senior Jackson Uhl lead the offense with 4 goals. Sophomores Grant Gardner and Alex Haucke both added
2 goals in the game.
Hawks lacrosse picked up another win on Thursday 11-5 over Oak Hills. Junior Owen Edkins had 5 goals and 2 groubdballs. Sophomore Gabe Blenman added 2 goals and Senior Goalie Mac Wilcox went coast to coast with goalie on goalie goal. Junior Aiden
Thunderhawks got a huge road win against Springboro on Tuesday winning 9-7. Leading scorers for the Hawks were Senior Owen Edkins who collected 3 goals and Senior Jackson Uhl had 2 goals. Defense was lead by a dynamic goalie duo of Sophomore Aidan Uhl
