This week's CAPORAL, Lakota East Team of the Week, is the Thunderhawk Football Team. The 2023 East Football Team is under new leadership this season. Although wins have been hard to come by, this team has given 100% effort as they learn a new system

East fell to West Friday night 34-0. Early on in the contest, East found some offensive success but was sidetracked by penalties. The Firebirds took advantage of those miscues to build a 13-0 halftime lead. East will look forward to another home game
