Lakota East Girls Basketball program is coming off of a fantastic season in 22-23. The program this year is loaded with talent and we are expecting another strong season for the Thunderhawks. Varsity returns 7 players from last year and gets a roster boost from a handful of players who are expected to have a positive impact right away. Returning 3-4 players with starting experience including multiple with All-League recognition, the Hawks should be able to compete nightly in the always tough GMC and are hoping to make a run at the first GMC title for the program. After 3 straight district appearances and a district title and regional appearance last season, the Hawks are looking to continue the tradition of deep tournament runs that have come with regularity of late. Please come support our hawks this season on all 3 levels as our JV1 and JV2 teams should also be very competitive and fun to watch this year! Go Hawks!
