Girls Basketball Falls to Mason

The Hawks suffered only their 2nd GMC loss of the season on Wednesday, falling to Mason 59-39. East fell behind at the half 30-24 and couldn't overcome the deficit later in the game. Brooke Ashner's 18 points led the Hawks.

East (12-6, 11-2) will look to return to their winning ways when they visit Fairfield on Saturday.

Girls Basketball Defeats Middletown

East Girls Bball sent their GMC record to 8-1 overall on Wednesday, defeating Middletown 72-39. Highlights: Parker Straub 19, Bella Sturgill 13 and Bailey Bacher 10.

East hosts Colerain tonight in a special 6:00 start before the boys game.

Girls Basketball Splits a Pair

East Girls Bball pushed their GMC record to 7-1 on Saturday with a 50-35 win at home vs. Fairifield. The Hawks opened up a big lead in the 3rd quarter and never looked back.

Three players were in double-digits: Brooke Asher 17, Bella Sturgill 13 and Addyson Johnson 10.

East (8-5 overall) will visit Middletown on Wednesday.
