Big Sectional finish for Girls Tennis
East Girls Tennis started competing Wednesday at the Sectional Championships. Reagan Gilbert & Hannah Latty have advanced to the Sectional semifinals which qualifies them for the next weeks District Championships at the Linder Family Tennis Center. They will play Saturday, back at Princeton for Sectional Titles.
The Doubles team of Addy Dailey & Mary Schadek made it to the quarterfinals, which will be played Saturday at 8am at Princeton.
All of East singles players, Izzy Reider, Jules Niemann, & Sara Rabin, played amazing tennis at Sectionals but will not advance.
The finals of the Sectional will conclude Saturday at Princeton High School.
The SW District Championships will take place Monday, 10/7 at the Linder Family Tennis Center. Qualifiers in Division I to State meet will be four (4) singles and four (4) doubles.
Reagan & Hannah won their doubles match beating UA & MND and earning the 1 seed in the upcoming District Championships at Mason High School.
There will be Four(4) singles and Four(4) doubles teams in both divisions I and II to
qualify for the State Tournament at the College of Wooster Tennis Center on Thursday
and Friday, October 17 and 18. District semifinals and finals will start at 9 a.m. on
Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024.
