BOYS BASKETBALL DEFEATS HAMILTON

Lakota East Boys Basketball started their GMC season last Friday at Hamilton with a "marathon" 84-70 win. East led the entire contest, but Big Blue kept the margin at an "uncomfortable" margin until the end. The game did not get underway until almost 8:30, resulting in a late finish (10:00). Not helping matters, the two schools when to the free-throw line 55 times on the night.
East held a 52-34 lead at the half, but the Big Blue narrowed the Hawks lead in the 3rd quarter to under 10 points until East put the game on ice.
Three Hawks led the way: Jadon Coles 21, Jack Kronauge 18, and Kobe Peck 18.
The Hawks will host Oak Hills on Tuesday, 12/7.
