The Hawks fell to Princeton at home on Tuesday. East was playing with out the leagues leading scorer, senior Trey Perry, but the Hawks rose to meet the challenge but fell a little short. It was a low scoring affair with the halftime score being knotted at 14-14. The Vikings built a 7-point lead in the third quarter and then hung on for the win by a 45-34 final.
East had balanced scoring but no player totaled in double figures.
The Hawks (13-7, 9-5) will travel to Colerain on Friday, 2/14.
East is the #5 seed in the upcoming Sectional and will play West Clermont on Wednesday 2/26 at Mason at 7:00. The winner will play in the District Championship game against either Centerville or Springfield on March 1st at Mason.
