Boys Basketball Rebounds with a Win over Fairfield

The Hawks rebound from the loss to Oak Hills in a big way on Saturday. East led by as many as 30 in a blow out win over previously undefeated (GMC) and league leader Fairfield. Final score was: 65-49 and it wasn't that close.
East led by a score of 33-16 at the half then built on that lead in the 2nd half. The Hawks got a big game from senior Trey Perry who scored 21 of his eventual 34 points in the first half. Significant contributions were made by all the East players in this important meeting of league rivals.
Saturday's win puts East in a three-way tie for 1st in the GMC.
East (9-2, 6-1) will visit Middletown on Tuesday.
