Boys Basketball Sweeps Weekend to end Regular Season

On a rare Monday night game, the Hawks had a home make-up game versus Sycamore and downed the Aves 37-23 for a sweep of their games this season. East led 10-5 in a low scoring first half, then turned it round over the final 16 minutes to win going away.

Trey Perry's 23 points led East. PJ MacFarlance contributed 9 points.

East is the #5 seed in the upcoming Sectional and will play West Clermont on Wednesday 2/26 at Mason at 7:00. The winner will play in the District Championship game against either Centerville or Springfield on March 1st at Mason.

East Boys Basketball earned a couple more wins over the long weekend, completing their regular season schedule with a solid campaign of 15-7 overall and 11-5 in the GMC (4th).

On Friday, East took care of business at Colerain, defeating the Cards 52-32. This one was never in doubt. Trey Perry led East with 29 points and was his usual unstoppable self.
