The Thunderhawk men ran a great race at Troy, placing 4th out of 16 teams, without their #1 runner (Will Tenoever) in the lineup.
Leading the way for East was junior, Marshall Novean, who ran a season-best time of 17:18 to place 19th overall in the 145-man field. Junior, Tyler Linam, ran a personal record time of 17:29 to place 26th as the second Hawk across the line.
The next Thunderhawk to finish was junior Nick Boeskool, running a season-best time of 17:47 for 32nd place. Nick’s twin brother Jake was the #4 man for East, nearly missing a personal record by running 17:50 which was good enough for 34th place. Rounding out the top five scorers for East was junior Sean Castillo, who ran another personal record of 18:02 which earned him 43rd place.
Next up for Lakota East Cross Country is the Milford Invitational, this Saturday, September 18th.
