BOYS CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES 6TH AT FALL CLASSIC RACE
Reilly Meyer Takes Fall Classic Race
The Boys Lakota East Cross Country team competed at Voice of America on Saturday at the Lakota East Fall Classic. Sophomore phenom Reilly Meyer once again turned in an incredible performance on the course. Leading wire-to-wire, Reilly dominated the field, winning the race by nearly a minute. Reilly posted a 5k time of 15:46.83- good enough to make him the 5th fastest man in Lakota East History.
Also turning in stellar performances were Juniors Blake Gibbs and Evan Aponte. Both men did everything they were asked and ran the race from the front, turning in top 10 performances. The team placed 6th of 11 teams.
Both teams are back in action on Saturday in Loveland at the Home of the Brave Park.
