The men's varsity team returned to full strength this week and were able to display their extremely talented trio up front for the first time this season. Reilly Meyer, Evan Aponte, and Blake Gibbs ran very tough races in a loaded field to spearhead the Hawks. Despite losing a shoe early, freshman Jacob Turner held his ground and ran a very good time on a difficult course. Senior Evan Watterson continued to show tremendous week over week improvement and rounded the scoring for the Hawks, who finished 7th in a loaded field.
The day concluded with yet another stellar performance from the open men's squad. Notably, PR-machine Will Tischer ran a minute personal best this week, finishing at 21:42. Colin Poe once again knocked more time off his best, running a 22:40. Freshman Calin Luers also had a big day, as in just three races, he has cut 5 minutes from his time.
