East men's CC competed Saturday at the Princeton Invite. Freshman Luke Nomina ran his best race of the season, and a personal record time of 17:17.2 to place 13th overall out of 118 runners on the 5k (3.1-mile) course at Landmark Christian Academy.
Senior, Jake Boeskool, also ran a personal record time of 17:21 to place 18thoverall as the #2 Hawk. The 3rd finisher for East was senior, Traves Tideswell, who also ran a personal record of 18:00 to place 37th overall. The fourth Thunderhawk across the line was first-year runner Lock Butts (junior) who placed 45th overall in 18:18.
Rounding out the scoring for East was senior, Alec Brown, who also ran a personal record time of 18:21 to place 47th overall. As a team, the Thunderhawk men placed 6th out of 13 teams.
Next up for Lakota East Cross Country is the King's Duals at Kingswood Park on Saturday, October 1st.
