Boys Cross Country Regional Results

Both the Lakota East boys and girls cross country teams represented their school at the Region IV Championships on Saturday.
The boys team was lead by seniors Evan Aponte and Blake Gibbs, who battled hard in what turned out to be a grueling race. Reilly Meyer, Jacob Turner, and Elijah Grissom rounded out the scoring for the Hawks in an ultra competitive region. Luke Huggins and Evan Watterson also represented well. The Hawks finished 12th and have much to be proud of.
Huge thank you to seniors Blake Gibbs, Luke Huggins, Evan Aponte, Evan Watterson, Sarah Rieger, Emme Ngyuen, and Alyssa Brunk. Their leadership and character will be missed immensely.
