BOYS GOLF 3RD HOBAN INVITE
East Boys Golf finished third this past weekend at the prestigious Hoban Invite at historic Firestone CC.
Hoban HS was the overall winner with a -2 under par. Dublin Jerome 2nd at +14 and East third at +16. This is the final regular-season event for the Hawks.
The boy's golf OHSAA Sectional tourney will be held on Wed. 10/6 at the Mason Golf Center. Each sectional golf tournament will qualify the following teams and individuals from the sectional to district tournament: 4 teams and 4 individuals with low scores.
The OHSAA District Boys Golf Championships will be held on Oct. 14 at the Beavercreek Golf Course. State tournament qualifiers from the District: will be 3 teams 3 individuals low score
The OHSAA Boys State Golf Championships will be held October 22-23 at the OSU Scarlet Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio.
JOE WILSON WINS MEDALISTS HONORS!
Senior Joe Wilson birdied the 18th hole to force a playoff. He then did the impossible by eagling the 2nd playoff hole to capture medalist for the tourney. Wilson shot a 32 on the back nine, finishing with a round of 69.
