BOYS' GOLF FIRESTONE RECAP
East Golfers shot a 303 at the Hoban Firestone Inv Sunday in Akron. The Hawks were led by senior Ben Isom with a 75! East finished 11th overall out of 19 teams at the event.
Bobby Horseman, Walker Wood, and Nick Collins all followed close behind with 76’s, and Logan Spagnuolo fired a 79.
The men were coached this weekend by East varsity assistant Kyle Vanderhorst, while Coach Combs caddied on the LPGA circuit (see story below).
Next up for East Boy's Golf is the Southwest Boys Sectional is slated for Thursday, Oct. 5th at Glenview. Four teams per sectional, & 4 individuals with low scores will qualify for District.
