Boys Lacrosse Early Season Results
The Hawks boys Laxers smashed Fairfield on Saturday, 3/29 in an away affair. Final Score 21-0! Owen Edkins had 5 goals. In the game. Seniors Scott Nicolai, Ahmad Migdadi, and Zaid Al-Smadi all recorded their first varsity goals along with Sophomore’s Luke Schatzke, Gabe Todd, and Luke Herrington.
Next up, East (2-2, 1-2) will host Oak Hills on Thursday, 4/3.
On Thursday, 3/27, East hosted Mason and fell 14-4. Sophomore Gabe Blenman scoring his first varsity goals.
East Boys LAX took a tough 10-9 loss at Sycamore on Tuesday, March 25th. Opening rounds of GMC games and the Thunderhawks lost a close game 10-9 to the Aviators. Owen Edkins has 5 goals in the game.
Thunderhawk season opener started with a 10-6 win over visiting Loveland. Junior Aiden McCall was 10 of 14 for faceoff wins with 7 groundballs. Senior Nick Tserng had 3 goals in the game while Sophomore Brady Johnson and Senior Owen Edkins both had 2 goals and 2 assist. The defense was lead by Senior goalie Max Wilcox with 15 saves. Seniors defender Cohen Reip has 4 caused turnovers and Senior Logan Kallenbach had 5 groundballs. Our newest addition Senior Sam Williams recorded his first ever face off win during the game. Next up is a busy week of lacrosse with away game on Tuesday at Sycamore, home on Thursday against Mason, and away on Saturday at Fairfield.
JV team won their season opener 9-5.
