BOYS SOCCER DEFEATS TIGERS

East took on the Loveland Tigers in their home opener Tuesday evening and prevailed with a score of 1-0. East started the game off strong, controlling the ball and creating scoring opportunities. With 6 minutes remaining in the first half, senior captain Khaled Eid, sent a cross in the box that slipped through the Tiger goalkeeper’s fingers and was headed in by junior, Ellis Culligan.
The goal would be enough to give the Hawks their second straight win and second consecutive shutout.
The Hawks go back on the road to take on GMC opponent, Oak Hills, Thursday night. East record moves to 2-0-0 (1-0-0 GMC).
