The Boys Soccer team earned their second straight victory of the week defeating the Milford Eagles on the road by a score of 1-0. The Hawks struck early in the match when senior captain, Connor Pletikapich, finished a ball the bounced around inside the penalty area.
Both teams battled for the remaining 76 minutes of play without surrendering a goal, giving junior goalkeeper, Kobe Foster, his first shutout of the season. Foster came up big for the Hawks with a couple of goal-line saves, six total for the match.
The Hawks record moves 2-1-0 (0-0-0 GMC). East will host Oak Hills on Thursday, Sept. 2nd.
