The East boys soccer team played to a 3-3 draw Tuesday evening at Loveland High School. The Hawks were awarded a penalty kick in the 4th minute of the match that was finished by senior, Justin Stidham. East would take that lead into the halftime.
Loveland struck early in the 2nd half equalizing the score 1-1, then took the lead 10 minutes later making the score 2-1. East junior, Juan Bartolone equalized the score with 11 minutes left in the match finishing a pass from junior Chris Mfuranzima making the score 2-2.
Loveland reclaimed the lead 2 minutes later, but East would respond again with another penalty kick, this time taking my Bartolone and equalizing the final score 3-3.
East goes back on the road to Fairfield Thursday night to open up GMC play. East's record is 0-1-2 (0-0-0 GMC).
