BOYS' VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS WEST AND FAIRFIELD!
Below is our match recap from Monday at Fairfield.
The Thunderhawks took down Fairfield Monday night in 3 sets (25-13, 25-17, 25-21). The Hawks were led on offense by junior right-side hitter, Grant Simer, who had 12 kills and a .522 hitting percentage on the night. Senior outside hitter, Drew Honigford, led the team in serve receive with a 2.0 average. Senior defensive specialist, Ryan Leisten, led the team in serving with 5 aces.

The Thunderhawks stay undefeated in the GMC as they dominantly swept the Firebirds on Tuesday night (25-3, 25-14, 25-14). The Hawks were led on offense by senior setter, Carson Hill, who tallied 2,000 career assists. Junior right-side hitter, Grant Simer, tallied 12 kills on the night and had a .524 hitting percentage. Defensively, senior defensive specialist, Lucas Blackburn, led the team in serve receive with a 2.33 average.
The Hawks (14-2, 6-0) are back in action TODAY, Wednesday night at the Hawks Nest versus Sycamore! The Aves (4-1 GMC) and Hawks (6-0 GMC) will more than likely determine who wins the GMC this season. Come out and support East VB!
