Head Coach Dennis Beck  -  Lakota East   Boys Swimming "Coach of the Year"

DICK'S Sporting Goods values the commitment and dedication of coaches in all sports. The conclusion of the Greater Miami Conference Swim and Diving Championships provides the perfect occasion to publicly recognize a "job well done" in working with young athletes in the aquatic setting. The Greater Miami Conference boasts some of the finest coaches in Ohio, and being selected to represent this group as a "Coach of the Year" is a genuine honor. The "Coach of the Year" award is especially meaningful because it is based on a vote by fellow head coaches. One of the greatest honors a coach can achieve is the recognition and respect of their peers.

On the boys' side of the pool, "Coach of the Year" honors were bestowed upon Lakota East's Dennis Beck. His program leadership has stood the test of time, as he guided his 2025 contingent to a solid third-place finish with an impressive 372-point total. This marks Coach Beck's sixth boys' "COY" award in the past 20 years. He has also been equally honored as a girls' "COY" on 10 occasions over the same period.
