El Caporal Team of the Week is the Softball Team
The Lakota East Thunderhawk Softball Team has been named the El Caporal Team of the Week after an impressive start to the 2025 season.
The Hawks have come out strong, dominating their first two Greater Miami Conference (GMC) matchups with commanding wins over Colerain and Princeton, outscoring their opponents 31-4 in the process. Their dominant performances highlight their offensive power, defensive strength, and all-around team effort.
Led by Head Coach Kelly Haiber, the Thunderhawks have set the tone early for what promises to be an exciting season.
The El Caporal Team of the Week honor recognizes outstanding team performances, highlighting excellence in competition, teamwork, and dedication. The Thunderhawks have proven they are a force to be reckoned with as they continue their pursuit of a GMC championship.
El Caporal, a staple of the Lakota and Mason communities known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and warm hospitality, is excited to announce the Team of the Week initiative, designed to celebrate outstanding local athletic teams for their achievements and contributions to the community.
