Football continues to improve with big win over Fairfield
East Football continues to improve as evidenced by last Friday's big win over Fairfield. Final score was 59-17. The Hawks built a huge first half lead of 35-10 and built on that in the 2nd half. The offense rolled up 522 yards while the defense held the Indians to just 188 in the blow out win.
Jamison Kitna (UAB Commit) passed for 299 yards and 5 TD's (18/27).
Ryder Hooks ran for 119 yards on 20 carries and 1 TD.
Zion Neal caught 6 passes for 58 yards and two TD's. PJ MacFarlane caught 4 passes for 61 yards and a TD. Connor Kruse had a 23-yard interception for a TD.
Cohen Reip had 8 tackles, 7 of which were solos.
East record improves to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the GMC. The Hawks will host Middletown (4-1, 3-1) this Friday. The Middies fell to West 51-7 last week.
