FOOTBALL FALLS SHORT VS. AVES

HOSTS WEST FRIDAY
Sycamore topped Lakota East 38-30 in a tough gridiron tilt for a victory last Friday night. The two teams dueled to an even start, with Sycamore and East settling for a 10-10 first-quarter knot Neither defense permitted points in the second quarter. The Aves enjoyed a meager margin over the Hawks with a 24-17 lead heading to the final quarter.
East mounted a 4th quarter come-back bid that fell just short.
Jamison Kitna passed for 288 yards on 17/25 and three TDs on the night. He also rushed for 53 yards. Zion Neal had two receiving TDs for 166 yards on 7 receptions.
The Hawks will host West for the Battle of the Lakota's this Friday night.
