FOOTBALL FALLS TO BIG BLUE

East Football stumbled against Hamilton this past Friday in the GMC home opener by a score of 21-0. Costly turnovers and big yardage to cover on third downs kept the Hawks off the scoreboard.
Lebanon transfer Rider Hooks rushed for 83 yards on 14 carries to highlight the East offense. Zion Neal caught 11 JT Kitna passes for 137 yards. Cohen Reip made a game-high 12 tackles on the night.
The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Hawks this coming Friday when they invade Princeton. The Vikings are 2-0 on the season coming off an 18-3 win over West.
