Football hands Middletown their 2nd loss of the season

East Football handed Middletown their 2nd loss of the season last Friday by a final 50-23 blowout. East led 19-9 at the half then went on to score 31 more points over the Middies in the final two quarters.

The offense rolled up 407 yards with QB Jamison Kitna throwing for 196 yards 13/21 passing and two TD's.

Ryder Hooks rushed for three TD's on 17 carries for 85 yards. Chauncey Peck added 57 yards and a TD on just 5 carries.

A trio of East receivers got the job done as well; PJ MacFarlane led the Hawks with 69 yards and a TD.

Cohen Reip produced 11 solo tackles for the defense.

East (4-2, 4-1) is in a three-way tie for first in the GMC with West and Princeton. The Hawks visit wnless Colerain this Friday. The Cardinals lost to West last week 52-0.
