Girls Basketball Defeats Middletown

Lakota East earned a 39-30 victory over Middletown on Wednesday, led by Brooke Asher’s 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Bella Sturgill added 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block, while Bailey Bacher contributed 8 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. The Hawks excelled with 11 assists on 11 baskets and forced 13 steals, while limiting themselves to just 10 turnovers. The win highlighted strong defense and efficient offense as Lakota East moved forward with confidence.
Next up, East (4-4, 3-0) will visit Hamilton on Wednesday, 12/18.
