GIRLS BASKETBALL FALLS TO SYCAMORE

East girls slipped against Sycamore on Saturday, falling 54-50. East rallied in the final quarter but it wasn't enough to overcome the Aves.
East senior, Sarah Sewak, dropped 17 points and has been averaging 11 points per game. Brooke Asher put up 10 points and her 4 assists added an extra 10 points on the board. Her ability to get her teammates open shots is tremendous for a freshman. Junior Madison French had a huge impact with 9 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals. It was a job well done for all the players who stepped up and played in those 32 minutes.
Next up for East (3-4, 2-2) is a home game versus Oak Hills on Wednesday.
