Girls Basketball Falls To Western Reserve
The Lakota East girls' basketball team faced a tough matchup against Western Reserve Academy, falling 56-33. Despite the loss, the team showed resilience, with 9 players making scoring contributions in the game. Senior Brooke Asher, led the team with 8 points, along with 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist, showcasing her all-around skills. Sophomore Bailey Bacher, also had a solid performance, contributing 4 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. The balance in scoring was evident, as multiple players got involved to keep the team competitive throughout the contest.
While Lakota East couldn’t overcome Western Reserve Academy’s offense, the team demonstrated depth and teamwork, with every player on the roster making an impact in some form. The effort and participation from the entire squad will be valuable as they move forward in the season.
