GIRLS' BASKETBALL SEASON HAS BEGUN!
EARLY SEASON RESULTS BELOW
The Hawks kicked off their 2022-23 season with a 48-47 thriller at Springboro. East grabbed a 2nd half lead and held on.
Emma Fohl and Savannah Smith led the Hawks with 10 points each.

East girls took a 55-46 loss to a tough West Clermont team on 11/22. The team was led by Madison French with 13 points.
Lakota East Girls Basketball smacked Ursuline Academy on Saturday, 11/26 winning their home opener 58-31.
Emma Fohl finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in Saturday’s contest. Savannah Smith led the scoring with 14 points including four 3-pointers in the first half!

Lakota East gave a dominant performance in Sunday, 11/27 Journey to the Tourney showcase, with a big win 63-28. The Hawks showed outstanding execution in the first half, holding the Lions to 9 points.

East girls kicked off their GMC schedule with a big win over Middletown 56-30. The Thunderhawk’s relentless effort lead to 22 team steals and 11 offensive boards. Three Thunderhawks scored double digits (Payton Woody, 12; Brooke Asher, 11; and Savannah Smith, 11), in addition to Katlyn Pham with 10 rebounds and 4 steals, and Emma Fohl with 9 steals and 6 assists.
East (4-1, 1-0) travels to Fairfield on Saturday for another GMC battle!
