GIRLS' BASKETBALL SMASHES AVES

East Girls Bball dominated visiting Sycamore last Friday, 64-28. The Thunderhawks started off hot and never cooled off against the Aves.
Celina Blount with 6 blocks and Madison French with 5 steals led their team defensively only allowing 8 points in the second half. Offensively, Savannah Smith was the leading scorer with 13 points, followed by Emma Fohl with 9 points and 5 assists.
Key takeaways from the game include East shooting 58% from behind the arc, grabbing 13 team steals, and finishing with 12 blocks.
East (7-1, 4-0) travels to Hamilton Wednesday for another GMC matchup.
