Girls Basketball Soars to 54-39 Victory Over Colerain

In an impressive team effort, Lakota East secured a 54-39 victory over Colerain, showcasing strong all-around play and balanced scoring. Bailey Bacher posted a double-double with 10 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists. Brooke Asher led the Hawks with 16 points on 50% shooting, adding 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Bella Sturgill contributed 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists, while AJ Johnson chipped in 6 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.

The Hawks’ strong defense and 15 assists on 22 made baskets helped propel them to victory, improving their record to 10-5 on the season and 9-1 in the GMC. 

East visits West on Wednesday.
