LADY'S TEAM SETTING NEW PROGRAM RECORDS!
The East Girls Basketball team continued to break program records over the winter break as they posted their best start in school history. See all the recent updates below:
The Thunderhawks went to battle over the holiday break at Mount Notre Dame on Tuesday night 12/20 coming out on top over the 8-time state champs with a 67-60 victory.
The score was even at 16-16 at the end of the first but after a series of steals, the Hawks went up 10 before the half.
Madison French led the team in steals, grabbing 7 out of the 9 team steals of the night. French and senior teammate, Savannah Smith, scored 16 points a piece. Brooke Asher finished the night with 9 points and 5 assists and Emma Fohl contributed 9 points and 4 assists.

On Thursday, 12/29, the Hawk ladies defeated Summit Country Day game in an away game by the score of 63-42. Leaders for East: Madison French 13 and Brooke Asher 11.

East Girls won their 2nd consecutive game over West on Wednesday, January 4th at West. The final score of the game was 62-44. East blew the game open in the 2nd quarter outscoring the Firebirds 22-6. Leaders for East: Madison French 15 and Brooke Asher 10. The Hawks got balanced scoring from the entire team with almost everyone contributing points.

The Hawk ladies kept their perfect GMC record alive on Saturday, blasting Colerain 81-38. East was led by Madison French with 18, Brooke Asher 12, Riley Wood, and Emma Fohl with 11.
East (13-1, 8-0) will visit Middletown on Wednesday.
