Girls Cros Country OSHAA Pre-season Results

The Lakota East Cross Country team competed at the OHSAA Preseason Invitational on Saturday. The girls' team was spearheaded by junior duo Molly Deardorff and Ava Dickenson, who turned in stellar 10th and 19th place finishes, respectively. Stepping up in a major way was senior Sarah Rieger, who crossed the line 3rd for the Hawks, tailed closely by junior Elise Brown and senior Emme Ngyuen. The Hawks turned in a very respectable 18th place finish out of 33 teams and look to build on a strong start as they are back home this weekend at Voice of America for the Lakota East Fall Classic.
