GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY 3rd AT LOVELAND INVITE

The Lakota East Cross Country team competed at Home of the Brave Park on Saturday at the Loveland Invitational. The East girls team had a great day in both the varsity and open races with all but 3 girls running personal best times.
Sophomore Molly Deardorff went out strong and it paid off, finishing 3rd in the field. Ava Dickenson continues to improve week over week, finishing 10th with a 30-second season PR. Sophomores Elise Brown and Maddie Still as well as Senior Brooke Wilson took a chance and stepped up to help lead the Hawks to a strong finish. The team placed 3rd out of 11 teams.
East CC is back in action on Saturday at the annual Mason Invitational at Corwin Nixon Park.
