Girls Cross Country Competes at Centerville's Saturday Night Lights Meet

The Lakota East Cross Country team endured Saturday's rainy conditions as they competed at Centerville's Saturday Night Lights Meet.
Despite the mud filled course, all runners competed at an extremely high level. In the boys open race, Jackson Farnham and Ethan Monroe lead the way for the Hawks and scored PRs on the day.
The girls varsity white race was ran very tough races and were spearheaded by Megan Hoffman, who scored a 13th place finish, followed by Juniors Madelyn Still and Annabelle McCarty.
The runners in the girls championship course were undaunted by a shredded course and made it their mission to battle for the entire race. Ava Dickenson and Molly Deardorff once again submitted top-10 finishes.
The team is back in action next Saturday at VOA for the Conference championship.
