The girls cross country team continued their late season momentum, overcoming stacked odds to qualify for the Regional Championship meet.
Junior Molly Deardorff continued her resurgence, setting another personal best en route to recording the 8th fastest time in school history with her 18:25.9 mark and a 5th place finish. Ava Dickenson also had a tremendous day, recording her fifth sub-19 minute performance of the year. Without a doubt the most remarkable performance of the day went to Senior Alyssa Brunk, who notched a 95 second personal best to propel her team up the standings and into the regional race. Sarah Rieger and Elise Brown worked together to round out the scoring for the Hawks. Ava Kohlhaas and Emme Nguyen also posted lifetime bests.
The Hawks will once again represent at the Regional Championships in Troy next Saturday,
