Girls Golf Advances to District

Lakota East Girls Golf advanced to the District Tournament as a team at Monday's Sectional.

The Lady Hawks finished 4th at Hamilton Elks GC to qualify them for a possible state tourney bid at the upcoming District Championships to be held Oct. 8th at Pipestone GC.

State tournament qualifiers from the District: will be 3 teams and 3 individuals with a low score.

Next up, East Girls Golf plays Little Miami HS at Belwood on Monday, 9/30.

East competed in a tri-meet on Wednesday at Walden Ponds. The Hawks came out on top with the best team score of the day. Jenna Schmidt was the overall medalist with a 41. See scores below:

The Hawk's hope to carry that momentum into the Sectional Tournament at Walden Ponds on Tuesday 9/24 where the top 4 teams will qualify for the District Tournament. 

QUALIFIERS TO THE DISTRICT TOURNAMENT FROM THE GIRL'S SECTIONALS WILL BE THE FOUR TOP TEAMS AND INDIVIDUAL LOW SCORERS NOT ON A QUALIFYING TEAM.
