Girls Soccer Defeats Bellbrook, 3-2

Lakota East Women's soccer travelled north to take on undefeated Bellbrook High School and Varsity came through with a convincing 3-2 victory conceding a late goal to make the scoreline closer. Randi Morgan and Balily Bacher continued their scoring streaks with Randi and Margo Boyle also contributing nice assists. Macy Hill and Bailey Retszch anchored a solid defensive showing giving the Golden Eagles their first loss of the season. JV learned a tough lesson of soccer that results can be cruel despite completely dominating play, lost on a late penalty kick.
Next up, East Girls will host Hamilton on Thursday.
