GIRLS SOCCER FALLS SHORT TO KY STATE CHAMPS

Thunderhawks took on the defending KY state champions, Sacred Heart on Saturday. Sacred Heart entered the match at 8-0 and featured the KY Gatorade player of the year, Junior Mallory Glass.
The JV team started the day with a victory over a talented JV team. They battled hard to earn a great victory.
Our Varsity girls limited Sacred Heart to very few opportunities in what turned out to be a well-balanced back and forth battle. Sacred Heart capitalized on one of the few chances to earn a 1-0 win over the Thunderhawks.
The Hawks return to action on Tuesday, September 14 versus league rival Sycamore at Sycamore. JV kicks off at 5:30 pm and Varsity immediately after.
