GIRLS SOCCER falls to Anderson
The Hawks traveled to Anderson last night to face off against the Raptors. The varsity match was a back and forth battle between two quality teams. Anderson scored the first two goals and Lakota East answered with one of their own.
The East squad managed more shots on goal however the quality defensive efforts by the Anderson keeper ended the match two to one in favor of the Raptors. Junior Erica Cox had a phenomenal individual effort to tally the loan goal for Lakota East..
Both squads are at home tomorrow against perennial Indiana powerhouse Zionsville. Issues with the heat index make starting time unknown however the goal is to kick off the JV game between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and the varsity match following immediately after.
