GIRLS SOCCER STOPPED BY ELKS

The Thunderhawks traveled North to take on the Centerville Elks at Alumni Field on Monday night.
Both teams struggled to mount an offensive attack and both teams came away with a loss at the end of the night. Varsity suffered a 4-1 defeat. The lone goal came on a direct free kick from Junior Maddie Burghard. Maddie laced a beautiful shot under the upper crossbar from about 30 yards out.
The Thunderhawks will regroup before taking on league rival Oak Hills on Thursday night at the Hawks' Nest.
