GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL SEASON IS UNDERWAY!

The Lakota East Girls Volleyball Team opened their 2023 season with a  program sweep of Walnut Hills!  JVA and JVB both finished their first match of the year convincingly, winning in two sets each.  The Varsity team fought hard against a resilient Walnut Hills Varsity Team, ultimately winning in five sets.  The Hawks hit a respectable 0.251 on the match with seniors Bre Sayles and Madelyn Luers leading the scoring with 20 kills and 14 kills each.  The team combined for a total of 11 blocks.  

Set 1: 25-12
Set 2: 21-25
Set 3: 25-15
Set 4: 29-31
Set 5: 15-7

The season continues next Thursday 8/24 with another home match against a tough team from Seton.  Game times are 5:00 PM for JVB (Freshman campus) and JVA (Main Campus) and 6:00 PM for Varsity (Main Campus).
