GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL SPLITS WEEKEND TRI-MATCH

Lakota East Women’s Volleyball played their final trials-match of the season Saturday morning. They ended the day with a split result, losing a hard-fought battle with a scrappy team from Anderson in 3 sets, then bouncing back to win over Goshen in 2 sets.
Senior Madelyn Luers led the scoring with 19 kills and 7 blocks. Junior Kennedy Peake led the offense with 44 assists, and Senior Kate Rabin led the defense with 27 digs.
The Hawks (10-8, 4-3) have 4 matches left in the regular season traveling to Alter on Tuesday night and Colerain on Thursday night.
