HAWKS UPSET UNDEFEATED MIDDIES!

Lakota East collected a solid win over Middletown in a 50-37 victory at home on Friday, Dec. 22nd. The win handed the Middies their first loss of the season and sent East's record to 4-2 overall and 4-1 in the GMC.
East jumped out to a quick lead in the first quarter going up 13-5. At the end of the third quarter, the Hawks held on to a narrow 27-25 lead. In the final quarter, East went on a scoring tear that saw them blitz the Middies by a 23-12 margin.
Leading the way for East was Trey Perry with 24 points. Derek Jackson and Luke Shaw chipped in 7.
