Putters Athletes of the Week for 1/16/25
TREY PERRY
Trey is a senior on the East Boys Basketball Team.
Once again, Trey has established himself as one of the top basketball players in both the city and the state of Ohio. Opposing teams consistently resort to double- and triple-teaming in attempts to slow him down. Despite this heavy defensive pressure, Trey leads the GMC in scoring with an impressive 23-point-per-game average. Even more remarkably, he also leads the conference in assists, showcasing his well-rounded game.
Trey currently ranks second all-time in scoring for the Lakota East Boys Basketball Program, solidifying his legacy at the school. Next season, he will bring his talents to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he looks to continue his outstanding basketball career.
COHEN REIP
Cohen is a senior on the East Wrestling Team
Cohen is a true leader for the Hawks! In his final season of competition, he is delivering a stellar performance. Competing in the 215-pound weight class, Cohen boasts an impressive overall record of 10-3, with nine of his victories coming by pin. Cohen is a big reason why the Hawks are 6-0 in dual matches this year. His outstanding success and determination will undoubtedly be key assets as the GMC Meet and postseason approach.
