Putters Athletes of the Week for 1/23/25
NATALIE FADA
Natalie is a sophomore on the East Girls Swimming Team.
Lakota East High School is proud to recognize Natalie Fada, a sophomore student-athlete, as this week’s Puttter's Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance at the Southwest Classic this past weekend.
Natalie placed in the top 16 in four events, showcasing her exceptional skill and determination in one of the most competitive meets of the season. She secured 5th place in the 100 Backstroke, 6th place in the 200 Backstroke, 15th place in the 200 Freestyle, and 16th place in the 200 Individual Medley. Additionally, Natalie contributed to the success of the Thunderhawk girls' team by competing on three qualifying relay teams.
A.J. GOMEZ
A.J. is a senior on the East Boys Swimming Team
Lakota East High School is proud to recognize A.J. Gomez, a senior, as this week’s Putters Athlete of the Week for his exceptional performances at the Southwest Ohio Classic this past weekend.
A.J. Gomez displayed outstanding athleticism and leadership by winning the 100 Butterfly at the Southwest Ohio Classic, a highly prestigious and competitive event. He also placed 5th in the 200 Butterfly, demonstrating his versatility and endurance. Furthermore, A.J. was a critical member of all four of the Thunderhawks’ qualifying relay teams, contributing significantly to their overall success.
