MOLLY DEARDORFF
Molly is a sophomore on the East Girls Cross Country Team
Molly had a huge day at the GMC Championships posting a phenomenal 3rd place finish with a lifetime-best showing of 18:34 for 5k. Molly's incredible race was no accident, as she is consistently one of the hardest workers on the team. Saturday marked the third time Molly has received all-conference honors in as many years. Molly will look to make a massive late-season push to improve on her podium performance at the State Championships last season.
BLAKE GIBBS
Blake is a senior on the East Boys Cross Country Team.
Blake is a captain and has been the unquestioned physical and emotional leader of the team all year. Blake's incredible racing instincts enable him to turn in stellar times every single week. Blake powered his way to GMC First Team All-Conference for the second consecutive year. Already the 11th fastest runner in Lakota East History in the 5k, Blake will undoubtedly continue his strong season, while looking to will his team to a postseason push towards the State Championships.
