KALEIGH CRAWFORD

Lakota East Athletics is proud to recognize Kaleigh Crawford, a junior pitcher on the East Varsity Softball Team, as this week’s Putters Sports Grill Spring Athlete of the Week.

Crawford has been a key force in the circle for the Hawks this season, posting an impressive 3-1-1 record with 34 strikeouts. Her dominance on the mound has given East a competitive edge in every outing.

Not only has she delivered for her team defensively, but she’s also making an impact at the plate, currently hitting .357 — showing her value as a true two-way player.

GIANNI LORA 

Lakota East Athletics is proud to recognize Gianni Lora, a senior standout on the East Varsity Baseball Team, as this week’s Putters Sports Grill Spring Athlete of the Week.

Lora has kicked off the spring season in impressive fashion and is currently one of the early batting leaders in the Greater Miami Conference (GMC). Through the Hawks’ first four games, he’s hitting at a scorching .455 average, showcasing his consistency at the plate.

In addition to his hot bat, Lora has flashed speed on the base paths with two stolen bases and has already launched a home run. Defensively, he continues to be a key contributor for the Hawks, excelling both in the infield and outfield as a versatile and reliable presence.
